Chapter and verse

With a name like "Plasmid Biologists and Mobile Genetic Elementists" you need a sense of humour. This is typically manifest in verse, as found in Bacterial Conjugation (Clewell, D.B., ed.; Plenum Press, New York, 1993):

Conjugation, penetration, consummation
Oh that's great
Derepress your inhibition
Find a mate and aggregate
Now penetrate the membrane
Right on to the chromosome
If you miss you're just a plasmid
Try to be an episome
